The laser component itself only takes approximately 20 minutes.

In addition to this, our skin therapist will treat your skin with a facial she deems suitable for the condition of your skin. Our treatments all included a series of complementary extras, such as: Led light therapy, a sheet mask, a facial massage with cryo cooling tools.

What is it?

Laser Genesis Skin Therapy is an innovative, technologically advanced treatment that encourages vibrant and healthy looking skin.

It can be used to correct many skin conditions including diffuse and excessive redness, uneven skin texture, and large open pores.

It is also very effective in the treatment of acne and surgical scarring. Relax and enjoy the benefits – the gentle warming of the skin is relaxing and pain free. Depending on the skin condition to be addressed, treatments can range from fifteen minutes to an hour and the number of treatments required can range from two to six or more. Treatments are two to four weeks apart.

When Laser Genesis is used in conjunction with other treatment modalities and a Medical Grade Skin-care regime it can significantly improve the final outcome.

How does it work?

Laser Genesis emits micro-pulses of laser energy into the dermal layer of the skin, creating a gentle thermal induction to stimulate the skins natural repair response. This results in collagen remodelling and skin regeneration, with improvement in fine lines, open pores, vascularity, and pigmentation. The application of heat also helps reduce redness caused by dilated capillaries and rosacea.

Downtime?

You may notice slight redness after the treatment, which usually resolves within a few hours. Without the heavy downtime that comes with many other lasers out there, this is a treatment which you can have on your lunch break and go straight back to work! It is safe to apply makeup and sunscreen immediately after the treatment.

Pain?

You will experience a gentle warming sensation of the skin as the laser is directed over the treatment area. Most patients describe the treatment as thoroughly enjoyable!
